Do you need a studio or office space?

Would you like to become part of an artistic community in the newly established Studio E39 in Eidsvåg?

We are two architects looking for one or two people to share a studio with. The space is approximately 72 sqm and is well suited for architecture, art, crafts, and other creative practices.

The studio consists of:

• A large main room with a sink, workbench, shared worktable, shelving, etc.

• A smaller room without daylight, currently used for storage

• A third room that we are discussing using as a meeting room – we are open to other solutions if needed

In addition, you will have access to a large shared kitchen, toilet, shower, and shared exhibition spaces. The common areas regularly host exhibitions, markets, dinners, parties, and other events, and the environment is both active and social.

Whether you need a permanent desk, workshop space, or a flexible place to work, we are open to finding a good solution together. The use of the rooms can also be discussed if you have other needs.

Feel free to get in touch for a chat – or drop by to see the space.

Monthly rent: NOK 6,000 for the entire space + shared expenses and electricity.

We are looking to share this with one or two others.

🎨Meet the artists of Studio E39 — next up is Katarina Kierulf

• Who are you, and what do you work with? Im Katarina Kierulf, a clay plasterer & architect. As a clay plasterer I am part of Earth Collective Bergen, where I also work as a workshop leader and organize courses about earth as a building material. As an architect I started a new office of Createrra in Norway Createrra, where we focus on natural building materials and energy efficient buildings. I also work with unburned clay as an artistic medium and am now aiming to be working more with murals and clay paintings. It's so nice to finally have a space for all of these practices in a building with so many nice artists & architects, a dream coming true!

• What are you currently working on?

Currently Im working on a framed clay-plaster painting. I really have a passion for creating different textures, colors and add tactility and composition to the walls we are surrounded by. And Im happy every time I have the opportunity to experiment & challenge the material more. In my Createrra office Im currently designing 7 cabins & saunas built with straw panels for a developer in Finland.
