🎶 Season 32 Grand Finale with Julian Petrallia!

🎹 The last Festival Recital of the 32nd Season of the Eccles Organ Festival is Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Experience Cathedral of the Madeleine Assistant Organist Julian Petrallia, in a program that highlights the breadth and beauty of the organ repertoire.

In addition to his work at the Cathedral, Julian Petrallia serves as Choral and Music Instructor at The Madeleine Choir School, helping to shape the next generation of musicians. Before relocating to Utah, he held positions as Assistant Director of Music at Epiphany Parish in Seattle and at the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, Texas, where he also accompanied daily chapel services at the Episcopal School of Dallas.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Petrallia began studying music at a young age and took up the organ in high school. He earned his Master of Music in Organ Performance from Southern Methodist University, studying with Scott Dettra, and his Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied organ with Nathan Laube and harpsichord with Edoardo Bellotti. During his time in Rochester, he served as Organist at the First Baptist Church of Rochester.

🎶 Experience Karol Mossakowski live at the Cathedral of the Madeleine!

🎹 The 32nd Season of the Eccles Organ Festival continues on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Madeleine with a recital by internationally renowned organist Karol Mossakowski. Celebrated for his brilliance in both performance and improvisation, Mossakowski will present a program that showcases his virtuosic artistry and creative depth.

Karol Mossakowski is widely recognized as one of the leading organists of his generation. He was appointed titular organist at Saint-Sulpice in Paris in 2023, joining a legendary lineage that includes Marcel Dupré, and Daniel Roth. The recital program will include, among other works, the entire Fifth Symphony by Charles-Marie Widor, also one of Mossakowski’s predecessors at Saint-Sulpice.

🎶 presenting “Discovering Handel!”

A special presentation will be offered on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.

This engaging program will introduce younger listeners to the life and work of George Frideric Handel through music, storytelling, an interactive exploration of the organ and with the help of the St. Dunstan choristers of The Madeleine Choir School. This performance is intended for children ages 3 to 10 and is produced in collaboration with The Madeleine Choir School and is part of the Cathedral Family Concert Series.

🎹 The 32nd Season of the Eccles Organ Festival continues on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Madeleine with a recital by renowned organist Richard Fitzgerald, Director of Music and Organist at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio. Known for his exceptional improvisational skill and deep commitment to sacred music, Dr. Fitzgerald brings a program that reflects his artistry and versatility, including works by J. S. Bach and Nicolas Clérambault, and selections of his own composed works.
