Art in Marikina? Absolutely. 🎨
I recently attended the opening of Art of Unwinding at The Attic Yarn & Hobby Studio in Marikina Heights—a group exhibition featuring talented artists from Marikina.
Marikina is often known for its shoes, cozy cafés, restaurants, and effective flood-control systems. But I didn’t expect to discover so many talented local artists and creatives right here in the city.
It was inspiring to see artists come together, connect, and share their work with the community. Exhibits like this are a wonderful reminder that there is so much creativity happening beyond the usual art districts.
The Art of Unwinding runs until September 6, 2026, at The Attic Yarn & Hobby Studio in Marikina Heights. If you’re an art collector, art enthusiast, or someone looking to discover emerging Filipino artists, this is worth visiting. 🖼️
Thank you, The Attic Yarn & Hobby Studio, for making this event possible and creating a space where Marikina artists can connect and be discovered. 🎨😊
