FREE VEGGIES!

Frost Lane Farms is thrilled to announce a partnership with Elders Affairs and the Council on Aging aimed at providing Walton County seniors with fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruit. This initiative is completely free for seniors and will feature a one-day pickup at two convenient locations.

Join us this Saturday, June 13th, for the 4th Annual Touch a Truck event at the DeFuniak Springs Downtown Farmers Market! The first 100 kids will score a FREE SNOW CONE while enjoying a day filled with excitement. Over the past three years, our city and county first responders have teamed up with Main Street DFS and our local Farmers Market to create this awesome, free event that showcases their incredible vehicles.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families and the community to gather and enjoy our vibrant downtown. You can wander through local shops, dine at nearby restaurants, or grab some mouthwatering BBQ from the Main Street Eats tent, which supports events like Faith Factor and the Farmers Market.

At the farm, we have a saying: “Today, the farmer takes the win.” Those days are the truly good ones that keep you in it for the long haul. Sorta like an addiction. However, we rarely discuss who or what wins on the other (majority) of the days. This week feels like it should be over; we’ll just call it a tie. We’ve experienced some significant losses on the farm this week, but our team persevered and achieved some major accomplishments. So, we accept the tie with gratitude & thank those before us for fighting through to preserve and pass along.
