Greetings! Thank you for your patience and dedication to this event.
The Thunder Bay Renaissance Faire Planning Committee – a subcommittee of the Ontario Agricultural Society (OAS) – voted Friday, June 26th to resign as OAS volunteers after being unable to come to a constructive and professional resolution with the OAS. We do not condone the public announcement of this Committee’s forthcoming decision before any formal resignation was delivered to the OAS - which was planned to be sent today in writing. The Thunder Bay Renaissance Faire Planning Committee is and remains committed to non-disparagement and professional conduct, and have not participated in any online discourse.
We are posting to share information that members of the planning committee associated with the 2025 Thunder Bay Renaissance Faire are no longer involved in the 2026 Faire. These volunteers oversaw the vendor jurying and selection, theme development, volunteer coordination, and creative direction of the previous event.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and volunteered with us last year and so far this year - it has meant the world to us.
