Lotus Lifted Dance Company Improv and Fusion Bellydance troupe located near Dayton, OH It was created by Carolena Nericcio in San Francisco, CA.

FatChanceBellyDance® Style is a modern belly dance style inspired by the folkloric dances of the Middle East and India. Carolena and her troupe FatChanceBellyDance® have brought this style to dancers all over the world. What makes FCBD® Style unique to the belly dance world is that it is a group improvisational style. A lead dancer uses a system of body cues to let the following dancers know what

move is next. This language allows dancers from all over the world to come together and dance together on the spot as if it were choreography. This creates an incredible non-verbal communication between dancers and strengthens us, not only physically but mentally and as a community.
