We’re looking for local choirs, groups and individual singers to be part of a People’s Choir and a special flash mob performance to open the Redhill Arts Takeover 2026 this September.

Redhill Rising is an original song celebrating Redhill’s stories, people and local heritage and is the brainchild of Nikki Franklin. In April, young singers from local schools filled the Belfry with their magical performance, supported by the Include Choir.

Redhill Rising will return to the Belfry at 11am on Saturday 5 September and you can help us raise the roof!

Interested? Visit the Franklin Music website to download the learning materials so you can sing the song (even just the catchy chorus) and sign along with Makaton. We’re also looking for soloists of any age.

I’ll be teaching as part of the professional tutor team on this songwriting retreat in South West France this summer.

15 to 22 August

It’s a full week dedicated to writing, developing and sharing your own songs, with morning songwriting tools sessions led by professional tutors, afternoons free for writing, co writing, recording and coaching, followed by evening show and tell sessions, dinner and jams.

A great opportunity to step out of the usual routine and give your songwriting some proper time, structure and focus.

The Final Countdown has begun…

Today is the first note in what promises to be an incredible couple of weeks as we count down to the Reigate Summer Festival.

If you’re out and about today, grab a coffee and head over to the festival information tent, where members of the Franklin Music community will be providing live music throughout the day and helping kick off the festival atmosphere.

Tomorrow night!

We are absolutely delighted to be joining the celebrations for the 10th Birthday Concert of Include Choir, marking ten years of music, friendship, inclusion and community.

Franklin Voices will be performing alongside Include Choir, with guest pianists and musicians helping to create what promises to be a very special evening of music. We are especially looking forward to sharing Redhill Rising together and celebrating everything that Include has achieved over the last decade.

Expect a wonderful mix of choir performances, solo piano music, community spirit and plenty of birthday celebrations.

Franklin Music CIC is looking for confident piano players to perform at a drinks reception as part of the wonderful Reigate Summer Festival.

For many of us, Reigate Summer Festival is one of the highlights of the local cultural calendar, bringing together music, arts, creativity, and community across the town.

We are looking for solo piano players to perform on Sunday 21 June between 11am and 2pm. Performance slot lengths are flexible.

We are ideally looking for players of Grade 6 standard or above, or equivalent experience. An 88 note weighted keyboard will be provided.

Any style is welcome, from classical and jazz to film music, contemporary, pop, and original compositions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to perform as part of a vibrant community festival and share your music with a welcoming audience.
