You asked, and we listened.❤️
One of the most common requests from our audience (online & in person), was to display the Arabic lyrics alongside our live English translations, to sing along and follow every word.

Starting this summer, Torath will feature both Arabic lyrics and English translations on screen for all songs.

Thank you for helping us make the experience even better🙌

What you see on stage is only part of the story.

“We rarely hear the inward music, but we’re all dancing to it nevertheless.”
— Rumi, Masnavi

In the world of Umm Kulthum, the violin speaks as deeply as the voice.

Gabi Daherieh, with his viol, brings to life one of the most timeless solos...where every note carries longing, strength, and memory.

Montclair Theater, New Jersey

In remembrance of Mohammed Abdel Wahab
(1902–1991)

On the anniversary of his passing, May 4th, we remember a voice that traveled beyond time...
a composer who carried Arabic music into new horizons,
and whose melodies continue to journey with us.

“Ya Mesafer Wahdak,” a song of longing and distance…
Yet this music never traveled alone.
It remains with us, across generations.

From Torath Virginia concert — April 25, 2026

His music lives on...

_______________
