ive been watching my Yiayia make these cookies my whole life. i can sculpt in detail, i can repair broken pieces with precision, i can throw to specific dimensions, but i doubt ill ever never shape these cookies the right way. Sometimes when i make these vases I think of watching my Yiayias fingers shape the dough so expertly, in three quick pinches.
