First unit completed! 🎉

Today I completed Unit 1: Preparing the Dance Space as part of the Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning.

This unit covered creating safe dance environments, risk assessment, emergency procedures, and how to ensure that participants can learn and take part safely.

Another step forward in my professional development journey as both a Thai Classical Dance Artist and Dance Educator.

Taking it one step at a time 😊

Thank you so much, everyone. You were all so kind, and I was delighted to meet you all at the Bristol Experimental Puppet Festival 2026.

If you see me at any future events, please do come and say hello. I work as a Thai classical dancer and also perform with traditional Thai puppets and Thai music.

I hope to bring different styles of Thai puppets to future events so that I can share even more of Thailand’s rich cultural heritage with you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to talk, take photographs, and show an interest in my Thai costume and Hanuman puppet. Your kindness and enthusiasm meant a great deal to me.

A special thank you to all the photographers who captured such wonderful memories of the day.

My sincere thanks to everyone involved in the Bristol Experimental Puppet Festival 2026 — all the organisers, staff, musicians, photographers, volunteers, and everyone who made the event so special.

Feeling very shy today! 😊

I travelled quite a long way to get to the event, so I arrived early and waited before it started. Even before the parade began, people were coming over to say hello, ask for photos, and chat with me. It was such a lovely surprise. ❤️

The moment that made me blush the most was when an Indian gentleman walked straight over to Hanuman, put his hands together in prayer, and said:

“Jai Hanuman! Jai Hanuman!”

I didn’t know what to say and felt quite shy! 😅

It was wonderful to see someone from another culture recognising and showing respect to Hanuman. Moments like these remind me how stories, traditions and culture can connect people from all around the world. 🙏🐒✨

A very heartwarming day.

Yabojhanoi (Thailand) – RBO/SHIFT 2026

I absolutely loved this performance ❤️

The combination of traditional and contemporary elements was beautifully done. I was especially impressed by the Southern Thai music, which was both distinctive and incredibly moving. The music alone created such a powerful atmosphere.

The performer playing Hanuman was outstanding. The role was performed with such strength, energy and presence. The female lead was equally beautiful, graceful and elegant.

What impressed me most was the way Hanuman’s emotions were conveyed. It wasn’t just through facial expressions, but through every movement, gesture and pose. Joy, sadness and every emotion in between were communicated so clearly through the performance.

The puppetry was also beautiful. I especially appreciated the strong concept behind the work. I love performances with a clear artistic vision, and this production achieved that wonderfully.

The large shadow puppet performance was fantastic. The puppeteer had incredible stage presence and charisma.

The narrator was excellent as well. The English was clear, engaging and delivered with great confidence and creativity.

Congratulations to all the artists and everyone involved. The level of talent, artistry and dedication on stage was truly inspiring.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience this performance.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful piece of Thai culture and creativity with the audience. 🙏✨💕

Thank you so much, Teacher Kaem, from Ban Natasilp Thai Rama 2, for helping me review my knowledge, develop my skills, and continue improving myself.

These days, I wake up early every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday without even waiting for my dog to wake me up. I eagerly get up to practise Thai classical dance because I do not want to miss anything I have learned from you.

Thank you for the knowledge, guidance, and inspiration that you have given me. 🙏
