Brethren Order of the North East Sea One of New England's best pirate crews for swashbuckling fun and high-seas adventure comedy! Get ready for rollicking good time with BONES at your next event

We bring thrilling tales, lively entertainment, and a hearty dose of humor to every performance. Brethren Order of the North East Sea, or BONES, was formed in 2011 by a group of veteran performers hailing from all over New England. In performing for the public and sharing stories, BONES is keeping the tradition of piratedom alive. We have as much love for music and entertainment as we do for rum and plunder! Audiences of all ages will be captivated by our stage performances of maritime work songs. The shanties we sing are family friendly and most encourage audience participation with their simple and fun choruses and callbacks. We'll interact with patrons between sets as we stroll through the grounds, bringing extra excitement to their day. During the course of a standard 6 to 8 hour faire or festival, BONES can perform up to three, 30-minute sets of songs, though we are happy to adjust to meet your venue's specific needs. Join the Pirate Guild; an educational show specifically designed to introduce children to a life of piracy. Try out nautical skills such as knot tying, shanty singing, and roaring like a pirate! Upon completion of the Pirate Guild, each child is given a sign-on bonus of treasure or gems and gets to sign our official roster, making them a full-fledged member of the crew. The interactive Pirate Guild show is a separately booked event, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on group and venue size.

Built in 1918, the Tall Ship Oosterschelde is the last remaining Dutch three-masted topsail schooner from the great age of commercial sail.

A few details maritime nerds may appreciate:

⛵ Sail Area: 891 square meters
🌊 Draught: 3 meters
⚙ Engine: 450 hp John Deere diesel
🧭 Port of Registry: Rotterdam
