Loyalty!
Parisurteil
I’m not a fan of the concept of loyalty – it’s put where love or friendship should be: „I’m loyal to my friends“ – yeah of course you are, or they wouldn’t be your friends. Saying that you’re loyal to them is just bragging about a matter of course – everybody is loyal to his/her friends, that’s precisely what friendship means.
And I don’t like being forced to be loyal to somebody I don’t consider friends or family: This ancient concept where some king asks more than obedience is also sort of nuts.
Dude, I’m your subject, I’m doing what you’re commanding me to, I’m not going to be your friend just because you’re the king. That’s some pre-democratic BS.
The only declaration of loyalty that makes sense to me is the one to your family, because you can’t choose your family, but faithfulness to it is kind of demanded anyway, although it is not self-evident.
The word „Loyalty“ sounds really nice though, just like „Royalty“, a concept that I’m not a friend of either :D

Ein kleiner Insidertip!
Schon im Januar haben das "Aalemannufer" und der "Quader" von uns den Auftrag erhalten, die Wandbilder dort bitte bis März/April zu überstreichen. Das Aalemannufer macht nun den Anfang. Die Grüne Fassadenfarbe ist geordert und zeitnahe wird dort gestrichen.
Wer sich die Murals in beiden Spots noch einmal anschauen möchte, der sollte sich ab jetzt etwas ranhalten!

💥 2021 💥
Die erste Station nach einigen Lostplacetouren war die Urban Art Hall auch eine Art secretspot, jedoch mit einer gewaltigen Ladung von qualitativ hochwertiger Kunst. Davon inspiriert ging die Reise weiter … es folgten verschiedenste Gallerien, Graffitiläden, unterschiedlichste Kunstspots, Ausstellungen, Museen und letztlich die Kooperation mit der Graffiti Lobby Berlin die ich am Haus der Statistik kennenlernte.
Sie engagieren sich seit über 10 Jahren für die Legalisierung von freien legalen Wandflächen in der Stadt. Die Leidenschaft mit Künstler Projekte anzugehen passte sehr gut zu dem Ziel der @graffitilobbyberlin und so organisierten wir gemeinsame Projekte. Es entstand von Januar-Juni 2021 die Openairgallery am Haus der Statistik #galleryhausderstatistic sowie seit Juni 2021 die Openairgallery am Nordbahnhof, die #northsidegallery.
In meiner 2020 eröffneten Psychotherapiepraxis als auch am Tierpark Center in Berlin Lichtenberg konnten ebenfalls Wände mit Streetart und Graffiti gestaltet werden. Kunst jedermann zugänglich zu machen und lokale Künstler zu fördern, wird auch 2022 ein großes Ziel sein.
Ich danke der @graffitilobbyberlin und den @stadtpiratenberlin sowie all den Künstlern, die mitgemacht haben für ihr Vertrauen und ihr großes kreatives Engagement. Ich freue mich auf ein nächstes noch kreativeres Jahr!! ♥️

Wer Berlin aus den 90iger Jahren kennt; weiß das vieles anders war. Nach dem Mauerfall entstanden in den leerstehenden Gebäuden kreative Welten, wie zum Beispiel das #Tachales in Berlin Mitte. Aus allen Herrenländer pilgerten die Menschen nach Berlin, um diesen besonderen vibes zu spüren. Nun Jahrzehnte später zeigt sich die Stadt in einem ganz anderem Kleid, welches charakterisiert ist durch Gentrification und Profitorientiertheit. Berlin hat sich fast verkauft, im Stadtkern findet man kaum noch lokale Bevölkerung. Ist das das Berlin was wir uns vorgestellt haben?
Orte der Kreativität und Freiheit, die Berlin so besonders machen, gibt es nur vereinzelt oder gehören der Geschichte. Leider!!
Die @urbanarthall in Spandau war so ein Ort, der nun für ein neues Spandauer Ufer mit Büros, Shopping und Luxuswohnungen weichen musste. Im Kapitalismus scheinen andere Werte wichtiger zu sein.
Was wäre die Welt ohne Kunst, ohne freie legale kreative Räume? Wie würde die Stadt dann aussehen?

Welcome to the Jungle!
A few days ago, I painted a staircase in a youth center in Berlin Spandau for my brother Moe of the Urban Art Hall.
The quote says: The limits of my language are the limits of my world. (Die Grenzen meiner Sprache sind die Grenzen meiner Welt) - kind of a Wittgenstein quote.
Language is the medium in which we reflect and contemplate, so necessarily, your thinking is only as good as the tool you use for it.
What lies beyond this horizon is simply not comprehensible to us.
