As we celebrate Flag Day, I wanted to share one of my favorite traditions at Magic Kingdom.

Each evening around 5:00 pm, a Flag Retreat Ceremony is held on Main Street, U.S.A. to honor veterans and active military members and thank them for their service and sacrifice.

It's one of those special moments that reminds me that Disney is about so much more than attractions and fireworks.

One of the most valuable Disney Resort hotel benefits is Early Theme Park Entry.

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can enter the parks 30 minutes before the official opening time every day.

That may not sound like much, but those first 30 minutes can make a huge difference when it comes to experiencing popular attractions with shorter wait times.

It's also one of my favorite ways to beat the summer heat and get a head start on the day. ☀️

Magic Made Simple ✨

One of the questions I get asked most often is:

"Do I need Park Hopper?"

The answer depends on your travel style!

A Park Hopper ticket allows you to visit more than one Disney park in the same day. For some families, it's the perfect way to fit more magic into their trip. For others, a slower pace with one park per day is the better option.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer—which is why I always help my clients choose the ticket option that makes the most sense for their vacation.

✨ Spotlight Saturday ✨

On this day 28 years ago, Brian proposed to me at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside (formerly known as Dixie Landings).

It remains one of my favorite Disney memories and one of the reasons Port Orleans Riverside will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

Fun fact: The black-and-white photo was taken at EPCOT's Innoventions. At the time, there was a new technology that allowed guests to take a photo and send it through email. We were able to share our exciting news with family and friends back home almost instantly—which felt pretty amazing in 1998!

Disney vacations create magical memories, but sometimes they become part of life's biggest moments too. ✨
