The young man I made the graduation card for sent me a thank you note and told me that my card was the best one he received. ❤️ There is just something touching about a handmade item.
Anyway, this was the highlight of my day & just wanted to share.
These are 3 of the 4 projects we made during Creativity Now yesterday using the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set and dies. This bundle was exclusively for demonstrator attendees for this event but will be available in the upcoming Mini (holiday) Catalog in August.
Today I held a watch party for the Stampin’ Up! Creativity Now 2024 online event. We got to play with new product, watch demonstrations, craft along with the presenters and see sneak peeks from the upcoming holiday catalog.
Imagine my surprise when one of my demonstrator friends popped up on the screen, presenting from England. 🥰 Heather did an amazing job.
It’s always a fun day to craft with my team and fellow demonstrators.

I made my sweet dad a card for Father’s Day using the Beside Me stamp set. I removed the fishing lines because we’ve never fished together. I also removed the other little child and extended the pier. To do that I used the masking technique.
Everyone in my family expects a handmade card and one of my nieces just told me that the handmade ones are always her favorite. ☺️ That just made my day.
I made a card for a high school graduate using his school colors. I did not have a graduation stamp set in my collection so I did the best I could. This card was a lot easier to make than I thought it would be, except for the tassel. I’ll do better the next time around.
If I’d had smaller numbers I would have put 2024 on the cap, but I don’t have any that size.
I hope he liked it!

I recently attended a demonstrator craft retreat in Columbia, SC, with Helen, who joined me for her first weekend retreat. We were joined by Chad Williams and Brian Pilling from the Stampin' Up! home office.
We also had the opportunity to meet two former Close to My Heart Makers who have joined SU and learned much from them. I truly enjoy stamping and spending time with my crafty friends, so combining the two is always a great experience, especially when I don't have to prep anything. Thank you, Hattie and Susan, for hosting such a fun event!
Lookie! Lookie! My name is in LIGHTS! Well, that’s how it feels anyway. This weekend I’m attending a retreat where I will be working entirely in preparation for this event in Pennsylvania.

It was Tracy's lifelong wish to ride in Cinderella's horse drawn carriage, so when we saw it in downtown Houston, we had to catch a ride. We practiced our princess waves as people took pics of us, and the driver even played Cinderella's "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" for her. Happy Birthday Tracy!
