Biggest inspiration. 👌🏾

In the quiet farming town of Ceres, far from the flashing lights of the city, a young boy named Zmowa was dreaming louder than his surroundings would allow. Born on 28 August 2002, he grew up surrounded by mountains and hard days, a place where opportunities are few, but dreams are big.

For Zmowa, music wasn’t just a hobby, it was survival. While others had escape routes, his was rhythm. He started writing rhymes in notebooks between classes, recording verses on borrowed phones, and performing in local hangouts where only a handful listened. What many didn’t see was the pain behind his words, the frustration of being overlooked, the hunger of chasing a future that seemed too far away for a boy from a small town.

Things began to change slowly. His videos started getting views online, and his name began to spread from Ceres to Cape Town. Then came his breakthrough, one of his music videos hit over a million views. It wasn’t just a number; it was validation. It proved that a small-town kid could rise in a world that often only listens to those already famous. Not long after, he signed with Mavala Media Space in early 2025, a moment that showed how far belief and persistence can carry someone.

But behind every success, there’s still a shadow. Fame doesn’t erase struggle, it just hides it better. Zmowa has faced the pressure of expectations, the isolation that comes with being young and different, and the fear of losing himself in an industry that can lift you up one day and forget you the next. He has seen fake support turn into silence, and dreams that once felt light now feel heavy on his shoulders.

Still, he keeps going. He performs, he records, he hosts events, and he carries Ceres with him in every lyric. His story is one of hope wrapped in heartbreak, a reminder that behind every song, there’s a story of someone fighting through pain to be heard.

Zmowa’s journey isn’t finished yet, but one thing is clear: he didn’t just make it out of nowhere, he made it out of nothing. And that’s what makes his rise not only powerful, but deeply human.

Here's some advice for a young kid who wants to be like Gxarha SA

"Listen up, youngster! If you wanna be like Gxarha, you've gotta put in the work. Here's what you gotta do:

1. Master your craft: Practice your rap skills every day. Write rhymes, record yourself, and study the greats.
2. Stay true to yourself: Don't try to copy Gxarha's style; find your own voice and flow.
3. Learn from others: Collaborate with other artists, learn from their experiences, and grow together.
4. Be authentic: Rap about what you know and what matters to you.
5. Stay focused: Keep grinding, and don't let setbacks discourage you.
6. Believe in yourself: You've got talent; now show the world!

As for how, start by:
- Writing daily rap journals
- Recording yourself and tracking progress
- Studying Gxarha's lyrics and flow
- Networking with other young artists
- Performing at local open mic nights

You got this! Now go make some noise!"

Congratulations to him 👏🏽 🥳🔥

Dear South Africa…🇿🇦 HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! From Venda to the World 🇿🇦🔥! I still can’t believe we made this happen. Romeo ThaGreatWhite did my Tik-Tok Open Verse Challenge 5 times! 4 times we tried to get him a VISA to come to the music video and FAILED so he had to film his part in SA and send it in. Finally on the 5th time we were able to get him a VISA to come film the music video in America! God is truly good! This is a story of persistence! I pray this song and his words spread throughout SA, Africa, and the REST OF THE WORLD! South Africa is the largest part of our Facebook family! It’s been a pleasure to collaborate with the amazing Nasty C and now Romeo ThaGreatwhite! I’m excited to do MORE! “Lonely Dirt Road” Mega Remix is out now!
