When your granddaughter is planning a murder mystery dinner for her birthday and requests blood-stained dagger keychains (that has “sparkly blood”), you get busy and make them! Happy upcoming birthday to my princess. These are going in the mail Monday.

Vases painted at my recent paint pouring party. Only two people had previously experimented with paint pouring. I think the ladies did a best job. I sealed them with resin after they cured.

I don’t want to let the day end without acknowledging the woman who made me what I am today. She loved Jesus with every fiber of her being! She was a Godly woman and touched many lives. Mom has been gone 37 years, but the impact she made on others still resonates in our hearts. Mom loved dogwood trees. I have been learning flower preservation so for Mother’s Day I made this memorial piece with dogwoods my wonderful neighbors let me clip from their trees. I can’t wait for the day we are reunited in heaven and spend eternity praising our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I love you, Mom! Miss you!

Last week I had the pleasure of sharing my love for fluid art with the ladies group from Lowell Church of God. I just finished sealing each vase with resin. These are the finished pieces.
