Caravan is a design studio with a multidisciplinary approach that suggests an alternative point of view to the contemporary public and domestic landscape. caravan addresses cultural, material, and social aspects, trying to re-establish a balance between being, having, and doing. Blending digital-fabrication, technologies, and artisanal expertise, caravan aims to create heritage awareness to face contemporary challenges. Each work is infused with pragmatic materialism smoothed by subtle metaphors, inspiring its audience’s reaction alongside empathic participation.
caravan was funded in 2012 by Emanuela Corti and Ivan Parati. The studio works as a platform of dialogue across disciplines. Over the years, they collected recognition through prestigious international awards and exhibitions.
