An oceanscape in progress. Colored pencil on white paper.
I just got back to it today after a pause in creating artwork.
More yet to be done. The foreground that's scribbled in will be developed further. It's a dark sandy beach with some rocks.
This evening, I used my electric eraser and my little tombow eraser to bring up the contrast of the clouds' white areas. It was very satisfying. I have more to do to develop that also. The ocean waves will begin to be more defined.

I had to laugh when, today, I was delighted to receive this Google compilation of the work I did on this painting, through its various iterations. It was like, got it, no I don't have it, got it, no I don't, got it, no, etc. Some of the details that I would have preferred to keep were unintentionally covered up by the time I reached the final version.

Not really close to done. Lots more I want to do. I promise you, it will be worth waiting for the end result.

My first attempt at a dolphin painting. I added it on top of my paint pour. I love how when the light hits as it's moved, or as the viewer moves while looking at it, the holographic colors shimmer & transform.

The panther mask is smoked fired clay. I broke the brush when I used the handle to stir very thick paint.
