Sicily, the Mediterranean Sea's largest island, has been an important winemaking center for 2,500 years. The island's southernmost region has idyllic vine-growing conditions, with consistent sunlight, moderate rainfall and coastal breezes. A product of the Mazzei family, owners of the Castello di Fonterutoli estate in Tuscany, this 2013 vintage Zisola Nero d'Avola was among Wine Spectator's Top 100 wines in 2015. In the glass, the wine exhibits aromas of wild berries, raspberry, earthy accents and spice notes. On the palate, taste blackberry, cherry, black plum and a hint of to***co, pronounced acidity and firm tannins. Ideal to enjoy with our Open oxtail Lasagne or Beef filet
