INDIGENOUS STYLISTS or someone who has experience in Indigenous fashion.

Looking to connect with an Indigenous fashion stylist who has experience with runway/editorial styling, preferably Toronto based or available to work in Toronto.

I’m currently developing my next ReeCreeations collection, Sacred Adornment, and I’m looking for someone who understands Indigenous fashion, contemporary high fashion, and how to bring a full runway look together without losing the story of the garment.

Think styling, accessories, jewelry, footwear and those finishing details that take a look from beautiful to RUNWAY.

I don’t look glamorous because I was so busy all day preparing for the show.
I was an emotional wreck, I was so proud to be part of Fashion Art Toronto
This collection was also created while I was healing from multiple surgeries to remove cancer.
Now I just want to focus on things that bring joy and a calm nervous system.
Fashion is joy.

Gratitude post ✨

We left Santa Fe on such a high, and I know so many of us felt the same.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who makes spaces like this possible. There is so much time, effort, creativity and dedication that goes into bringing all of us together and creating an environment where we can share our work, our stories and our creativity with one another.

Thank you Loren Aragon for the invitation and for bringing us into this space. Thank you Sovereign Santa Fe and La Fonda On the Plaza for the beautiful show and all the work that went into making it happen.

Thank you Colin Bridge for capturing these incredible photos and giving us something to carry home from the experience.

And to the models who wore these designs with so much presence, thank you. A designer can create the garment and carry the story into it, but you are the ones who bring that story to life on the runway.

We came home inspired, grateful, connected and ready to get back to creating. There is something really special about coming together like this, and the energy stays with you long after the runway is over.
