Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday, solstice, and new year! I will be working on more videos and would love your input. I am learning (and hopefully getting better) each time. The last video I made was about mixed-race marriage laws in the US. I am grateful that these laws were eliminated nationally, but it was only in 1967! Not so long ago. I am planning the following video on racial identification in forensics. I would love your thoughts! What would you be interested in about this topic?

I have learned so much about identity and how history has shaped our culture in the last few years. It has taken me getting over a fear of putting myself out there even more, but after several tries, I made my first YouTube video about the topic. I would appreciate any support and comments! Apparently, if it helps the algorithm, you should let the video go until the end and hopefully "like" and "subscribe." Thank you again!

Have you ever been asked the loaded question, "What are you?" If you're mixed-race, multiracial, or an immigrant, you know this question often feels less lik...

I can't believe it has been over three years since I posted. I hope you all are doing as well as possible. To those who do read this, I apologize for the delay. I have been busy with moves, dogs, and working on my PhD for the last five years! Although it is not a fiction book, my research has made me think about what the third book in the series should be about. I am also focusing on writing a non-fiction book about identity, since identifying unidentified people is what I have spent much of my life doing. I am also writing about how society has created categories, how that impacts people's daily lives, and how I have never fit in. What interests you about this topic?

Honoring all those who advocate for human rights. Wanting to be treated with respect and to be heard is a human desire that we should all work together to achieve. Thank you for your work
