The Westmount Gallery presents an exciting new collection of works by Victor Colesnicenco, a celebrated artist renowned for his innovative approach to capturing cityscapes. The three new mixed media paintings on display include 'Late Evening in Tuscany' and 'Paris Operetta' (40x40 in.), as well as 'Toronto Cruise Ship' (40x60 in.). Each piece showcases the artist's ability to distill the essence of a city into a single, captivating image. With a focus on travel and exploration, Colesnicenco's works invite viewers to discover new destinations and appreciate their beauty. By combining traditional techniques with modern flair, the artist creates unique, collage-like paintings that capture the spirit of each location.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Family Day long weekend. We’re finally enjoying some beautiful sunshine that makes winter quite enjoyable. Lynne Schumacher’s Foggy Gate to the Boreal Forest (a winter piece ironically) found a new home very recently. The client sampled four of Lynne’s paintings and settled on this one for her living room. Likely because the colours match her furniture and decor. She also sampled Looking Up for the bedroom, but that one is still with us. Lynne Schumacher’s work is highly appreciated by customers that visit the gallery. Her work is on display on our website and can also be purchased on our shopping page. Check out Sugar Bush, another winter themed painting. Shipping is free for purchases within the GTA.
