If you are in Akron on Saturday nights, we are co-hosting some fun art events with Unlimited Imagination Foundation, and giving away gifts, art supplies and more! These art parties will be at A Walk in the Park Café, with their amazing menu of food and drinks (including breakfast food all day, coffee, tea, beer, smoothies, etc). They also have art supplies, so you can paint and get creative while you eat good food and listen to music. If you have some free time on Saturday nights, we hope you will stop by! 💗

We love supporting this Akron Ohio arts charity, Unlimited Imagination Foundation, located at A Walk in the Park Café💗. This Wednesday October 27th, they are having a free pumpkin painting event for the community! They welcome donations to help support their ongoing community art events and activities. Finally got to try out glow in the dark glitter for resin, and it's amazing! The glitter charges easily from sunlight or lamp light (even your phone light works), and the glow lasts for a while. These "spooky" necklaces and more Halloween gifts will be available to check out in person on Saturday October 30th at A Walk in the Park Café, where our mini gift shop is located! They will have some cool Halloween activities planned that day, and of course, free candy. We'd love to see you there! 🎃🖤🧡🖤🧡

I am honored to have been commissioned to create an art installation for a wonderful new business, OH SNAP Photo Lab located in downtown Akron Ohio. It's an amazing photography and event space with over 30 diverse art installations, suites, and backdrops that you can use to create artistic photos for yourself, social media, friends and family, etc. This is the largest resin piece I've ever created, and I genuinely could not have done this without the help of my partner, who gave as much to the creation of this project as I did.

The concept was a colorful resin countertop with lights running through it, and it was a success! There are about 50 lbs of transparent glass stones that give the lights a colorful hue throughout the piece, and provide a 3D, textured (and hard to resist touching 😄), installation. It took about 8 weeks. Below are videos. You can see it in person at Oh Snap PhotoLab in Akron, OH ❤.

This would be of those times that I'm glad my original plan failed because I love how this turned out!

Cherry blossom is one of my favourite trees to make and the rose quartz base sets it off beautifully. I've called this one Unconditional because rose quartz is said to be the stone of unconditional love, peace, harmony and healing, something we all need a little (or a lot!) of now and again. 🌸💕
