OCLK-Kast 076 : : VENT

Entering September, Timeless O’Clock welcomes Vent with a continuous journey through the sounds that have been shaping his deep perspective driving between hypnotic and moments of atmospheric tension.

Drawing from the futurism of early-2000s German and Detroit techno, Vent has been developing a sound that balances the physicality of the club with a more meditative and introspective sensibility. His approach moves through deep rhythms with shifting textures, creating spaces where repetition becomes a form of guidance rather than predictability. There’s a constant tension between the functional and the atmospheric, with a focus on movement, restraint and the wider details.

Over the years, Vent’s music has taken him to some of the UK’s respected spaces, including Fabric, The White Hotel and Corsica Studios, while continuing to carve out his own language within the broader techno landscape.

OCLK-Kast 075 : : SYSTEM SOPHIE

Originally from Guimarães, Sofia Ribeiro, known as System Sophie, has been shaping her language through ambient, IDM, generative music, and experimental electronics. Her approach to DJing is rooted in curiosity and discovery, moving through intense and pulsating territories where Acid, Electro, Techno, Drum, IDM, EBM, and Trance collide with darker, immersive atmospheres.

Since 2022, she has been developing her identity as a DJ and producer, exploring dense textures, broken rhythms, and unpredictable landscapes. She is also co-founder of Guimarães-based collective ÜMER and Hardware Live, an improvisational project where machines, instinct, and the moment converge without a script.

This episode was recorded in the context of the release of her latest EP, Hydra, a fitting moment to step into System Sophie’s world and experience the sounds, textures, and impulses shaping her practice.

Originally from the west of France, Ocyra has developed a distinctive sound where ambience and texture meet the timeless influence of Detroit techno. With a background in broadcast sound engineering and decades of vinyl collecting, his productions are defined by deep atmospheres, organic rhythms, and meticulous sonic detail.

Having released extensively on labels such as Oslated, De Rio, Somnia Records, and Face Æ, Ocyra continues to craft sonic journeys that bridge introspection and an irresistible forward pull.

From Osaka to dancefloors across Europe and Asia, TENO has been steadily shaping a distinctive voice within contemporary techno. As both a DJ and producer, his work moves effortlessly between deep minimalism, downtempo textures, and driving techno, always guided by an organic flow and a strong sensitivity to the energy of each room.

Whether behind the decks or in the studio, TENO focuses on creating narrative-driven experiences rather than chasing predictable moments. His sets have found a home on respected platforms including Eerste Communie, Monument, Oslated, Duplicity, and IO Records, while his productions continue to appear on labels across the globe.

In 2022, he co-founded Aum Recordings, a label connecting artists from Japan and beyond, and later introduced Monos, a more personal outlet dedicated to introspective and evolving sonic explorations. With the release of his debut vinyl DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK EP, featuring a remix by Wata Igarashi, and an upcoming appearance at Amsterdam Dance Event, TENO continues to expand his artistic path while remaining deeply connected to his own vision of sound.

Porto-based DJ and producer Aäg treats music as an emotional language — a tool to construct introspective sonic worlds. Rooted in atmospheric, spatial, and ambient dark textures, his sound draws from an early connection to rave culture, evolving into a refined and immersive aesthetic.

In 2022, he joined Analytical Convenience, a collective of artists and friends united by a shared vision of collaboration and contribution to Porto’s underground scene. Through this platform, he continues to develop a sound that balances emotional depth with rhythmic tension, always in dialogue with the spaces and audiences he performs for.

For this episode, he presents a drone live set.

OCLK-Kast 070 : : HYPNOTIC BLACK MAGIC

Berlin and Lisbon-based DJ and producer Hypnotic Black Magic is known for her ritualistic, trippy uplifting sets. HYpnotic and euphoric journeys shaped by psychedelic atmospheric depth and driving rhythms.

Inspired by avant-garde electronic music and free party culture from an early age, she developed a distinct sound rooted in hypnotic techno, ambient, IDM and tribal influences. Beyond the booth, she is the founder of Art Bei Ton launched in 2018, dedicated to hypnotic and psychedelic aesthetics and gender-balanced line-ups, while continuously creating space for FLINTA* and q***r artists within the underground scene.

Having performed at renowned venues and festivals including SÄULE at Berghain, Tresor, VENT Tokyo, Gare Porto, MO and Monument, Hypnotic Black Magic has established herself as a respected force within the global deep techno community.

Following the release of her EP Passages in 2025, Hypnotic Black Magic unveiled her debut album Ending The Curse in 2026, further expanding her artistic vision through both her productions and curatorion.

OCLK-Kast 069 : : ADRIAN SKIBA

Poland-born, Manchester-based DJ and producer Adrian Skiba traces his path into electronic music from early raving experiences and a deep teenage immersion between Olsztyn and later the UK. After relocating to Manchester in his early twenties, he began refining his transmission behind the decks and in the studio, exploring a wide spectrum of electronic styles before fully committing to a more focused artistic direction.

In 2021, he introduced the SKZ alias, a project dedicated to hypnotic, textured and driving techno, defined by precision, tension and deep atmospheric layering. As co-founder of the Refractiøn platform and resident of Polish Techno.logy, he continues to shape and support forward-thinking techno culture from both sides of the booth.

Since his first releases in 2022, Adrian has quickly gained recognition and support from artists such as Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, Svreca and Lakej, among others, steadily carving out a distinct voice within the contemporary techno landscape. In 2025, he further expanded his vision with the launch of his own label, Arya, marking a new chapter in his vision output.

Rooted in Detroit techno and shaped through decades spent between record shops, radio stations and club booths, Moy Santana approaches electronic music with depth, precision and curiosity. His sets move fluidly across many influences around the deep scene and experimental contours, showcasing a quiet intensity that resists rigid genre boundaries. There is a strong sense of narrative in the way he builds time and space, balancing functional dance floor energy with moments of subtle detail.

As co-founder and A&R of Sungate, Moy has cultivated a distinct identity that extends through his productions, radio work and collaborations. Whether through Observatory on Openlab Radio or his project Fase Bipolar alongside Finalversion3, his work continuously explores the intersection between contemporary techno and timeless language.
