Patsy Marie Blair was just one day shy of her 18th birthday at the time of her wedding on July 16, 1950. Her father Frank Blair is seen walking her down the aisle to her groom John Miller Morris (19).
The young couple married in Amarillo Texas and two years later welcomed their first child John Miller Jr. soon followed by their 2nd and last son Kelly Blair.
The family would move to Arizona with John Sr becoming a beloved teacher in Shonto. Unfortunately, tragedy would soon strike as John Sr. suffered an unexpected heart attack & passed away at age 29.
Patsy would remain widowed until she married her 2nd husband Robert Franklin Heflin 13 years after John's death.
Tragedy would again strike Patsy as 3 short years later her father Frank would pass in September of 1976. Likely still grieving this loss, she would be hit again with the death of her youngest son just months later. Kelly Blair passed while involved in a motorcycle accident in Australia that December at age 22.
Patsy herself passed from this life in December 1999 at age 67. Her remaining son John Jr. would follow in the steps of his father and became a beloved teacher. He passed in 2017 at age 64.
