• ILY (wish u were dead) Video is out now on YouTube!

It’s been a year of many “firsts” with LAURIE, but creating her first music video from scratch is a lovely moment for sure. Laurie came up with the idea to shoot the visual in a vintage hotel and the team got straight to work. The set was built from scratch in a warehouse in SE London. Everything you see was done by hand!

Special thank you to our early collaborators , Simon and Ellis 🧢. We appreciate you guys a lot and it was a pleasure to work with you again.

Also to EVERYONE who played a part in making this happen, we couldn’t have done it without you. From the runners who made the tea, the cleaners and just every single one of you - Thank you 🫡❤️.

We shot this video fully independent at the time and a tremendous amount of attention to detail went in to pull this off.. and watching it back I’m very proud of such a beautiful piece of art…much more to come.

We shot the video end of last year, so you can imagine how long we’ve been plotting and planning to get to this point. It’s very fulfilling to see the end product of all the work we’ve been putting in..

S/o to everyone involved, we have LOTS to come for the rest of 2026. We’ve been knuckling down working hard behind the scenes putting together all the music and building our team, so it’s exciting to finally get the ball moving and show the world what we’re about.

• I’m going to be honest... When I first come across LAURIE around a year and half ago I thought she had a lot of raw talent but I didn’t take the opportunity 100% serious at first. I was crazy busy building a company & being a father that I didn’t think I had the time or energy to take on a new artist project.. but Marci pulled me to the side in our office and told me to go for a walk with him. He said “look at how many artists you’ve helped in your career, look how many have blown, Laurie is special and you know it, so stop f*cking about and work with her”. 😳 I called her that day and told her we should start the process of getting her music career going.

Long story short, I took her for lunch in White City and we just spoke about music, her sound, who is inspiring her and what she wanted to do in the next 6 months. We laughed and joked but it was a serious conversation. We agreed to give one another a trial period of 6 months to see if we work well together or run in the opposite direction 😅

Ffs this is a long post 🤦🏽‍♂️ anyway, we got to work, no days off, just grafting and piecing together the puzzle for a brand new artist. I done everything on her checklist in under 2 months. The phone starts ringing now, sessions are coming in and meetings are stacking up left right and centre. The whole point is we haven’t stopped at all, we know we have a lot of work to do but it’s all welcomed. The travelling, the hustling, late nights, early starts, the ups and downs are part of the process.

So fast forward to Wednesday 5th August 2026 we release our first single ILY (wish u were dead) to the world. It’s a beautiful introduction to Laurie and the story she’s about to share with you for the next two years. S/o RORY JAMES who produced ILY. I’d love for everyone I know to keep an ear out for what’s to come, presave the link in my bio and follow Laurie’s page/story.

This isn’t going to be an overnight success story, but she has the talent and I have a vision to help her achieve her goals and dreams. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the story so far, both Laurie and I appreciate you tremendously.
