How do you 'fix' seams in foam armor? Do you sand it down, add filler, or cover them with details/battle damage?
My favorite is to add details of course 😜 But that's not always possible. Then, I first sand the foam as smooth as possible with a rotary tool, and then if needed, also add some filler.

The magic of layers (foam layers) 🪄

Its pretty cool how a plain simple shoulder pauldron can be turned into something interesting with layers and details. You can also cover up seams so it looks like one piece. Tools i use for details are a sharp xacto knife, woodburner, dremel and circle cutters.

DOOM kid is coming to rip and tear this halloween soon 🎃👻

Making the classic doom guy armor for my little bro since its his favorite version and gonna be his bday present/halloween costume. Im using EVA foam as my primary material to make the costume. For the helmet i used templates and for the torso i patterned it out so it can fit him just right. Still have to make the weapons and then paint it !
