On September 29, 1996, the Nintendo 64 officially launched in North America.

And if you were a Nintendo kid back then, seeing THIS issue of Nintendo Power was enough to make you lose your mind.

“Super 64 Mario — Launches the Fun Machine”

We had no idea just how many memories that little black console was about to give us.

Super Mario 64.
Mario Kart 64.
GoldenEye 007.
Star Fox 64.
Diddy Kong Racing.
Super Smash Bros.
Ocarina of Time.

No downloads. No updates. No online subscription.

You bought the cartridge, grabbed a controller and played.

And somehow...

30 YEARS have passed.
