LuWul Fiber Art We are a mom and daughter team that fell in love with felting and would love to share our creations

LuWul is a little idea mom and I came up with after we fell in love with needle felting and wanted to be able to share it with others. But whenever we talk about felting we are often met with confusion about what exactly it is! Needle felting is basically using needles to sculp wool or other types of fiber. The needles used for felting have barbs to them so that when the wool is stabbed the barbs

knot the wool and keep it in place when the needle is pulled back. There are many type of needles and different ways to use them to get the desired out come, and after stabbing away the we have a wool creation!

I haven't done a small (5inch) horse in awhile!! Honestly they intimate me because its hard to get detail in a smaller scale so I get a little overly critical. So when I got an order for a small horse I took extra time to try to really be happy with it. I still am learning and growing my craft but I am pretty happy with how this one turned out! Just one picture for now but I'm excited to share more with you later!

After a little break for the holidays I'm back at projects! I have been working on a big horse project and trying to really focus on details. I had an "Ah-ha" moments last night to improve on eyes! I just wanted to share just little adjustments can really make a face come together!
