Hi, I'm Khai! 👋
I journal because I'm constantly in my head, and I find comfort in creativity — expressing myself through doodles, colors, words, quotes, patterns, paints, markers and papers. These videos + posts of my journal pages are my conversations with my inner wisdom, but expressed in different ways. I hope my sharings will gently nudge you to try journaling and start your own conversations—whatever form that takes for you. ✨

Using this time to start reflecting on the last 11 months. So much has happened - lots of highs, many lows too and a big pivot. But overall I am grateful how the year has flowed. ❤️🙏🏻🥰

Random journal. Sometimes journaling doesn’t have to mean anything. It can be just cutting, tearing and sticking down things that you like because of the image, pattern or the colour. I love using repeated patterns. You just don’t know what will emerge and there’s no overthinking to it. Just keep repeating the same strokes. It’s rather meditative.

Read about the plight of the polar bears in taking residence in an abandoned Soviet-era weather station in Russia’s far north east. Really breaks my heart.

I wanted to put this in my art journal. It’s my first time sketching real quickly and then using oil pastel for the colour. Not sure about the proportions but just felt like sketching and colouring real quick. Not too much thought into it. How did I do?
