Hi Instagram, Erin here -

You might have noticed we’re a bit quiet on here, and that we’ve left some messages unanswered, and that the deck preorders and spring birth charts are a few weeks late. I’ll go ahead and say it’s mostly my fault, but both of us have been having a TIME lately and you all should know why and know where we are with everything.

My dad passed away two weeks ago while I was on my honeymoon out of the country, and to say it’s been hard and complicated is an understatement. It’s been really difficult for me to do anything that isn’t working to pay my bills (and struggling to manage that) and helping figure out what’s next for my mom and me. I have definitely fallen behind on things that need to get finished, and for that I feel a lot of guilt, but at the same time I’m trying to be kind to myself and allow for rest when things start to feel overwhelming.

All that to say — your birth charts and decks will be with you by the end of the month. I am just finishing things up as best I can amidst barely making the whole “human” thing work. I also had an issue with my card printer changing up their box design and it delayed my shipment of oracle decks - but they are on their way and will be in your mailboxes soon.

As for THE HOLLOW VALLEY, things are moving slowly but Davis and I are both doing a lot of figuring out what we want and need, and also just trying to keep our heads above water in a world that definitely doesn’t value rest and time for recovery enough.

Thank you all for understanding, and stay with us - we have a lot left to make and share but it’s going to be a little quiet on here for a bit longer while I grieve and catch up.

Hey Nashville lovelies!!! Tarot for Self Care is BACK!

Have you ever wanted to use tarot as a self care tool, but feel overwhelmed and aren’t sure where to start? Did someone gift you with a beautiful deck that you don’t feel “ready” to use yet? Do you want to add another tool for guidance and intention-setting to your self care toolkit?

Tarot holds so much guidance, but people are often intimidated by the gravity of the 78 cards, especially if they aren’t confident in their meanings. In this hour-long workshop, I will teach how to use the tarot intuitively to find guidance and direction without feeling like you need to know the exact meanings of all of the cards or how to complete a “full” tarot spread. The exercises and methods I teach are extremely accessible for beginners and also add a new dimension to using the tarot for intermediate tarot readers as well!

In the workshop we will cover:

How to read tarot intuitively (using suits, numbers, and images)

How to use tarot for daily guidance by creating a daily tarot ritual

Tarot for self care

Going deeper - resources and more!

Drinks and snacks provided, and feel free to bring your own deck (though I will bring several for folx to work with if they don’t have their own)

Hey cuties! Get your end of year orders in TODAY - Erin will be doing one last big shipping haul tomorrow afternoon, so any US orders placed before then MIGHT just make it in time for Christmas! No guarantee - but if you’re like us this year and taking the season super chill, you might be okay with some belated gifting :) Either way, get your orders in before 11 CST tomorrow for shipping tomorrow, all other orders placed between now and the end of the year will ship out on January 3rd!

Working my way through the acquaintanceship process with the .tarot. I don’t do this with every deck, but it felt important to do it with this one.

This deck is essentially a collection of spirits that you can seek guidance from. It is almost essential to approach this deck from an animist perspective, otherwise you will miss out.

Here’s what I’m doing:

Shuffling the deck, then pulling cards and engaging with each card. Then I’m writing my own interpretations/impressions, and then I read from the zine to corroborate and enrich my understanding of the card.

I’m using a notebook where I listed each card ahead of time, and keeping track of my progress with a sheet from tarot tracker notepad.

Essentially, I’m creating my own guidebook in collaboration with the spirits of the deck.

I don’t do this process with every deck I get - it can be long - but this deck is honestly a joy to do this with.

TA**US - Store all of your favorite recipes in a notebook and tag their main ingredients so you can meal plan with ease.

The New Moon represents the beginning of a new lunar cycle, the start of a new mo(o)nth. Think of the New Moon as a monthly re-start, a new beginning, a time to clear out the old, so you can bring in the new.

As the Moon goes dark, we, too, are invited to go dark… to get quiet… to look inwards and be self-reflective. This is a time to prioritize self-care and gentleness. It’s a time to get honest with yourself and explore who you are and what you are truly desire…

It’s also a time to think about your goals for the next 28 days. What changes do you want to make in your life? What do you want your focus to be? And how will you get there?

By focusing on one, overarching goal each month, you can transform your life. By working with the lunar cycles, you can feel more connected to the cycles of nature… and you’ll explore your personal cycles and ebbs and flows.

We worked with to create a template to work with the New Moon. Through guided journaling prompts, you’ll set an intention, define what success means for you, and review/reflect on your progress.
