Razzberry has died of liver cancer. The Last Ride of the Salt & Pepper Gang was a couple of weeks ago before he got real bad. He is buried at Boys Ranch. Thanks to everyone who supported the book about me and Razzberry.

I was raised on the notion that there is no such thing as color. At the beginning and the end of the day, we are all human beings. It won’t matter if your casket is bigger. it goes into the same soil as everybody else. Happiness is not a matter of material things nor a matter of monetary assets, Rather is a combination of character and legacy. Your character is defined by the heart, not by the color of the skin. Your legacy is defined by how you choose to act towards others in this life. I think this nation lacks self accountability and compassion thus why we are seeing Such a huge divide. If there is no enemy within, then the enemy that’s outside can do us no harm. We are weak because we are all fighting some form of enemies that is within us so we are allowing ourselves to be manipulated by outside forces into disliking the very people who we have come to know and love. It can’t be this way. We all need to have a moment of self reflection.

We can do better as a people. At this point we have everything to lose if we don’t and everything to gain if we do. Stay safe

Can some people help me? I talked to Razzberry recently. He started crying right away, so it was hard. Said he's melting away. Said to me through his tears, "Ken, I'm shrinking, man. I'm shrinking." He said his hands have curled up into claws and he can't straighten out his fingers or use his hands. Can't button shirts or hold things. Said he can't get around his house or clean it. Can't hardly take care of his dog. Said he was in constant burning pain. Cried and cried telling me his arms are just skin over the bones. His arms made him the saddest.

He's so low in spirit. Afraid of the future. Doctors are talking about a potential surgery coming up for him on his spine, a last ditch effort. It was so hard for me to hear him cry knowing how helpless I am. Thank God Jeff Price and his wife Tammy are right there with him every step of the way getting him to his doctors and taking care of him.

If you can help me, I need people to call his phone and leave messages of encouragement. He said he never gets any visitors. Everybody's gone away. Send me a message and I will message you his phone number if you don't have it. Even if you never met him but want to give him some encouragement, I really need you. He never answers his damn phone (usually can't find it) so leave a message for him. And if you don't know, we have a little memoir out you might like. Thank you. I'm asking for help.

I pulled up to the hardware store and watched this take place right in front of me. This guy sees two kids walking in the pouring rain while one is pushing his broken bicycle and he stops everything he is doing and spends 5 minutes getting drenched with rain while he fixes this little boy’s bike. These kids rode off so happy and he left with a smile on his face from ear to ear. As a matter of fact, he put a smile on my face too. This is the America that I know. High five to you good sir!
