This post comes with a story. ..

On our train while traveling within Germany, my wife and I met this cute little girl, who was playing with the lights on her seat in front of us. She wore a coral sweatshirt, pink PJs had a very pink tablet to watch Peppa pig on... Usual adorable kids stuff. So in a short time I had on the train I sketched a chibi for her. Now she was young and only spoke German, but her father seemed quite delighted and we shared the sketch with him. I couldn't tell if she recognized herself, but I had a nice time, challenging myself to sketch something very fast.

As 2021 comes to an end, I wanted to recap some of my favorite sketches for the year. This was an interesting year for sketching for me.

I started the year with chibis, and chibi giveaways, moving on to comics. I at some point gave up from sketching (I didn't really talk about it cause I realized it was a transient feeling), took a break and came back for the Halloween month. Now I'm very excited for next year. I'm looking forward to an MCU chibi series for so many heroes and villains I will get to sketch!

Inspired by the Cleopatra in Assassin's Creed Origins. It always messes with my head when I think she was a descendant of Alexander The Great's companion and was having an affair with Julius Caesar. It's like how celebrities today intermingle amongst themselves.
