Last night's results. Congratulations to Hannah Morin on not only winning it but also getting second!
Now to the business part.
At our last race, we had:
• 40 entries
• $45 entry fee
• 80% payback
• $250 added
As most of you know, the majority of payout comes from entry fees, not really how much is added — so lower entry fees = smaller payouts overall.
👉 Fun Fact- $1,510 went to the payout from entries it would have been $1,230 with a $35 entry.
I’d really love your feedback on a couple things so we can make this better for everyone:
👉 Entry Fees & Payout
• What entry fee range feels affordable to you right now?
• Do you prefer a lower entry fee with smaller payouts, or a higher entry fee with bigger payouts?
• What makes a race “worth it” for you to enter?
👉 Race Times (especially for our upcoming Friday night show)
• What time do you realistically need exhibitions to start?
• What time should the open race start to make it doable after work?
• Do later start times make you more likely to come, or less?
Right now, we’ve been doing:
• Exhibitions at 6:00 PM
• Open at 8:00 PM
But we’re wondering if that’s actually hurting turnout for some of you.
We truly want to build something that works for the majority, so your input really matters. Drop your thoughts below! 👇
I will also be adding in the comments what the payout would have looked like with a $35 entry.
We are doing all this because we want bigger shows with more added money and good payouts so let us know.
