Domenica 28 aprile alle ore 20.30, al Museo Archeologico di Cavallino, gran finale del progetto Europeo E.T.E.R.I.A la produzione internazionale “COMBAT! Compianto per il corpo del nemico ucciso” diretta da Fabio Tolledi. 🎭

Combat! si interroga sui conflitti dilanianti del presente e vedrà la partecipazione di attori e attrici provenienti da Italia, Romania, Grecia, Nord Macedonia, Turchia, Tunisia, Albania, Burkina Faso, Spagna, Finlandia che hanno lavorato intensivamente durante le due precedenti settimane di Residenza Artistica per creare questa nuova versione dello spettacolo, sviluppando quanto già realizzato in Romania e in Grecia. In scena Filareta Atanasova, Ermelinda Bircaj, Georgia Givetsi, Lopez Carla Mazarrota, Matteo Mele, Natasha Petrovikj, Roberta Quarta, Simonetta Rotundo, Simona Spirovska, Khouloud Thabet, Hamado Tiemtoré, Sanna Toivanen, Onur Uysal, Anna Cinzia Villani, Roberto Gagliardi, Mauro Tre. On Sunday, April 28, at 8:30 p.m., the Cavallino Archaeological Museum will stage “COMBAT! Compianto per il corpo del nemico ucciso” produced as part of the E.T.E.R.I.A. project and directed by Fabio Tolledi. 🎭

After the international artist residencies held in Constanta (Romania) and Zakynthos (Greece), the project reaches its final phase, developing innovative models in the field of social and community theater. This project explores conflict transformation through the arts, encouraging the involvement of citizens, and common and shared work between artists, digital technology experts, and cultural and social operators.

The show questions the tearing conflicts of the present, and it will feature actors and actresses from Italy, Romania, Greece, North Macedonia, Turkey, Tunisia, Albania, Burkina Faso, Spain and Finland. The artistic group worked intensively during the last two-week residency to create this version of the play, developing what was achieved in Romania and Greece. On stage will be Filareta Atanasova, Ermelinda Bircaj, Georgia Givetsi, Lopez Carla Mazarrota, Matteo Mele, Natasha Petrovick, Roberta Quarta, Simonetta Rotundo, Simone Spirovska, Khouloud Thabet, Hamado Tiemtoré, Sanna Toivanen, Onur Uysal, Anna Cinzia Villani, Roberto Gagliardi, Mauro Tre. Poetic text and direction by Fabio Tolledi. 🎨

A site-specific performance that will also feature digital installations, the result of a long research conducted in synergy between the project’s artistic team and experts in digital technologies from the Virtual and Augmented Reality Laboratory of the Department of Engineering for Innovation at the University of Salento.

On Thursday, April 25 at 8:30 p.m., Distilleria De Giorgi in San Cesario di Lecce will host "Resist - Singing Memories," an evening to celebrate the Anniversary of Italy's Liberation from Nazi-Fascism.

👉 Singing becomes an instrument of social protest and historical memory resistance through the boundless repertoire of Italian fight and resistance songs, interpreted by Anna Cinzia Villani, Fabio Tolledi, Roberta Quarta, Simonetta Rotundo, and Matteo Mele. Through the songs of the popular tradition, we remember the horrors of war, which unfortunately return to our days, the ideals of political and labor battles, the sacrifice of thousands of people to affirm the values of freedom, equality, and respect, hoping for the construction of a future in which men and women are finally not exploited by other men and women.

Si celebra l’anniversario della Liberazione con “Resist – Singing Memories” 🎶🕯️

Si tiene giovedì 25 aprile alle ore 20.30, alla Distilleria De Giorgi di San Cesario di Lecce, “Resist – Singing Memories”, una serata per celebrare l’Anniversario della Liberazione dell’Italia dal nazi-fascismo.

👉 Il canto diventa strumento di denuncia sociale e di resistenza della memoria storica attraverso lo sconfinato repertorio dei canti di lotta e resistenza italiani, ad interpretarli Anna Cinzia Villani, Fabio Tolledi, Roberta Quarta, Simonetta Rotundo e Matteo Mele. Attraverso i brani della tradizione popolare si ricordano gli orrori della guerra, che purtroppo ritornano ai nostri giorni, gli ideali delle battaglie politiche e del lavoro, il sacrificio di migliaia di persone per affermare i valori di libertà, uguaglianza e rispetto, nella speranza della costruzione di un futuro in cui finalmente gli uomini e le donne non siano sfruttati da altri uomini e altre donne.

📅 Will be presented on Wednesday, April 17, at 8 p.m., at Astràgali Teatro, Via Giuseppe Candido, 23, Lecce, the international project E.T.E.R.I.A. - Enhance Transborder Experiences, Rebuild Interactions of Artists, supported by the Creative Europe program, promoted by the Italian Centre of the International Theatre Institute, with the participation of a rich international partnership formed by ITI - North Macedonia, Museum of National History and Archeology of Constanta (Romania), Theatro Tsi Zakynthos (Greece) and the Laboratory of Augmented and Virtual Reality of the Department of Engineering for Innovation of the University of Salento and with the collaboration of Astràgali Teatro.

The public meeting will be attended by Fabio Tolledi, president of ITI - Italia, representatives of the various partners involved in the initiative, and the artists involved in the scheduled events.

🌍 After the International Artist Residencies carried out in Constanta (Romania), and Zakynthos (Greece), the project reaches its final phase between April and June. E.T.E.R.I.A. develops innovative models in the field of social and community theater and conflict transformation through the arts by fostering citizen involvement, and joint and shared work between artists, digital technology experts, and cultural and social workers.

🌟 Prende il via la Residenza artistica del progetto internazionale “E.T.E.R.I.A. – Enhance Transborder Experiences, Rebuild Interactions of Artists”!

📅 Lunedì 15 aprile alle ore 18, alla Distilleria De Giorgi di San Cesario di Lecce le attività si aprono con “Roots and Wings – Community Telling” 🎭, la dimostrazione del laboratorio curato da Luca Fusi e Hamado Tiemtoré con gli ospiti rifugiati e richiedenti asilo del progetto di accoglienza SAI – DS di Cavallino gestito da Arci Lecce Solidarietà.

🌍 “E.T.E.R.I.A. – Enhance Transborder Experiences, Rebuild Interactions of Artists” è sostenuto dal programma Creative Europe, promosso da ITI Italia – International Theatre Institute Italia, con la partecipazione di un ricco partenariato internazionale formato da ITI – Macedonia del Nord, Museo Nazionale di Archeologia di Costanza (Romania), Theatro Tsi Zakynthos (Grecia) e il Laboratorio di Realtà aumentata e virtuale del Dipartimento di Ingegneria per l’Innovazione dell’Università del Salento, con la collaborazione di Astràgali Teatro.

🔚 Dopo le Residenze artistiche internazionali realizzate in Romania, a Constanta, e in Grecia, a Zante, il progetto giunge alla sua fase conclusiva tra aprile e giugno. E.T.E.R.I.A. sviluppa modelli innovativi nel campo del teatro sociale e di comunità e della trasformazione dei conflitti attraverso le arti favorendo il coinvolgimento della cittadinanza, il lavoro comune e condiviso tra artisti, esperti di tecnologie digitali e operatori culturali e sociali.
