Beloved Market Day folks, I’m so sorry to say I won’t be there to tempt you this blazing hot August Saturday. I was planning to have a “Damn Hot” sale! Alas, I got a tad overheated today working in my garden and in my even more hot little workroom. 🔥😢 So at the sweet behest of my daughter Gracie and my overly worried husband, I’m bowing out until next month. Please tell me I’ll see you in September!! 🧡🔥

Not gonna lie. It was a hot one, but it was a joy! A big thanks to all you folks who came out and found treasures, but a special hallelujah thanks to my two daughters who worked and sweated it out with me! We were sure ready for those margaritas after packing up!!

Well, it sure isn’t as cute as I would like, but I will be there! I know in Texas we are not allowed to disparage rain, but seriously?? Does it have to be on every Market weekend? I’ll be out there early to try to get everything set up for you guys in the morning, so come on out and cheer me up! Daughter Gracie and granddaughter Matilda will be there to help me and cheer you up!

Betty and I will be at Market rain or shine tomorrow though, due to this glorious rain, our display will be haphazard and incomplete, but there WILL be some great treasures! And Betty is bringing new paintings!! Come make is feel better!!!

Oh! Beloved friends/customers it has been so hard to pull the plug on an April market, but this forecast is just too difficult for our situation. We can’t pull things out to get soaked in rain all day long. I’m sad on many levels. Here are but a few of the fresh finds I was preparing to bring. Sorry you’ll have to wait until next month, but you know what? I’m sadder still that I want get to be recharged by your presence. You have no idea what an energizing blessing you are.
So this moment I have accepted that I won’t be there and I’m sitting in my courtyard with a glass of w**e as the evening falls thinking of you all. Wish you were here and see you in May!
