Meet Hero, Nynx, Loki and Hector!

Not only did I have the pleasure of drawing these little cuties, I’ve been having weekly cuddles too!

They’re all so different, in appearance and personality and I’ve loved getting to know them alongside drawing them.

Thought I’d join in with even if I am abit late to the party! Day 1 was ‘you and your work’ so here we go…

Hey! I’m Katie, I’m 29 and I currently live in Cornwall.
I am a stay at home mum to my 3 year old boy-Cooper and he definitely keeps me busy!

My passions are wildlife and art so when I get chance, I combine the two and create pencil portraits of wildlife and also pet portraits.

I do like to mix it up with some people portraits from time to time and it keeps things interesting switching between different subjects.

I like to do random creative projects sometimes too whether it’s painting peg dolls or crocheting.

I enjoy taking time to procrastinate and curl up and watch a good old romcom or Disney film from time to time or a bit of true crime (don’t we all)!

I love the community of creatives on here and find it so motivating but not always the most confident with sticking my face out there so be kind 😂

Thought I’d get round to posting my latest completed commission.

This one was a compilation of ideas to recreate a special memory.

Was it tricky? Yes!
Did i have to try and be creative in a way I’m not familiar? Yes!

Was it worth it? Ofcourse!
All worthwhile to know you’ve created something someone can treasure.
