Congratulations, Kamloops! We're so excited to see your new arts centre thrive!

Yesterday’s groundbreaking for the Kamloops Centre for the Arts marks a turning point more than five decades in the making. Since 1976, the KSO & KSO Music School has held a clear conviction: our community deserves a dedicated performing arts centre worthy of the talent, ambition, and creativity that thrive here.

Generations of board members, musicians, community champions, mayors, councillors, and city staff have carried this vision forward. Their perseverance built the foundation for what will soon become the home of our musical community.

We extend our deepest thanks to Ron & Rae Fawcett, Barb Berger, Brenda Aynsley and the KCA Society, City Council, the Build Kamloops Select Committee, and every person over these decades whose commitment and leadership brought us to this historic moment.

It's because of you that we stand here ready for a stronger cultural future for Kamloops that is now truly underway.
