Hand-carved wooden sculptures testify to a patience to which I have committed.
It is a slow process & takes a lot of time. I think it's worth it. What do you think?

Hand-carving wood is a slow, meticulous process—but that’s what makes it so special. Every cut takes time, patience, and care, and in the end, it’s all worth it.

"Tutto Il Peso Del Mondo," meaning "All The World's Weight," is a powerful, complex, and evocative wood sculpture. Carved from a tall olive tree trunk, the artist masterfully uses the wood's natural variations, creating a striking contrast between light and dark. The beeswax and turpentine finish enhances the wood's texture, inviting touch and contemplation.

This contemporary sculpture is more than just an object; it's a statement. The abstract, figurative form hints at the burdens and pressures of the world, evoking themes of war, inner conflict, and the heavy loads we carry. Like a labyrinth, the sculpture's intricate details reveal new perspectives and scenes with every turn, encouraging viewers to explore its depths.
