Gelli printing can get pretty messy. So the cards on sale have paint marks on the back of them. Nothing major but I can't sell them at full price. They are such lovely cards though that I couldn't discard of them either (not that they would go to waste - I always find a use for the misprints).

These cards were made using two processes. First Gelli printing and then I hand drew the white mandala pattern.

What are your thoughts on Amazon?
This small business is very proud to say that we do not buy any of our materials from Amazon. Not a single thing! So why is this? There are MANY, MANY reasons for this decision. One of which is that Amazon destroys small businesses.
When I started my little business, I was determined not to buy any business materials from Amazon. This was a little tricky at first, as I'm sure you can imagine. So when I began my Internet search for stock such as paper, envelopes, guillotine, ink etc etc Amazon was always at the top of the Internet search.
So what was the alternative? There are tonnes of small business owners on eBay. My brother being one of them! And while I can't guarantee that these businesses don't buy their products from Amazon. At least I'm not directly supporting the retail giant.
What are your thoughts on this?
Have you got any tips on how to avoid shopping at Amazon?

Welsh Lady card ready for St David's day!! 🏴
So pleased with this one! To make this card, I hand carved all the black parts into a lino stamp and made a print. I then painted the red top and tiny daffodil and drew her face with a fineliner.

I really love this card!!
I was feeling pretty pleased with myself when I thought of the idea. Thinking to myself that this must be an original idea and there's no way anyone else could have possibly have come up with this already 😏😂
So I was really gutted to find out that this was NOT the case 😂 BUT I couldn't find any other original hand printed versions. So I thought that was pretty cool 🙂
