Proof of life and working. Between the extreme heat, my wife's convention schedule, and an ongoing infection I have not been able to get out in the shop much at all the last couple of weeks.

Walnut with aluminum and dyed veneer inlay.

This was something I wanted to try and had this out on the lathe literally all week.
I finally was able to get out and fix some mistakes and finish this off.

A quick walk through of the shop. It's over 100 out there most of the hours that I have to work, so it's going slow right now. Even so, I did some work out there and cleaned and organized some.
