Esplode all'Art Expo di Cefalù come un varco, non un’opera.
Una dichiarazione.
Un’apertura che incendia il percorso e impone subito un ritmo: qui si entra, qui si cambia sguardo.

Il colore non fiorisce: irrompe.
Rosso, arancio, blu che non imitano la natura ma la superano, la spingono oltre, la trasformano in pura energia mediterranea.
È una tela che pulsa come una costa al sole, come un’alba che non chiede permesso.

Spring è l’innesco:
la prima scossa, il primo movimento, la prima frattura.
Un’opera‑soglia che non introduce: pretende.
Pretende attenzione, presenza, apertura.

È il punto in cui il percorso di Cefalù smette di essere spazio e diventa esperienza.

Francesca Aiello - Artist Biography
Italian architect, designer, and visual artist whose practice moves across spatial research, chromatic abstraction, and contemporary visual culture. Based in Palermo, she develops an international artistic language, modular and cross‑disciplinary, where geometry, color, and narrative converge into immersive environments. Her works appear as luminous structures suspended between architecture, memory, and emotional landscape.

🤩 Following the experience of the Artexpo New York 2026 — widely recognized for its organizational excellence and its outstanding cultural vision — Archikromie Creative Hub - Arte e Architettura opens a new chapter of research and presence in Palermo.
A project that carries forward the same curatorial discipline, the same technical precision, and the same international ambition, shaped by the city.

🙏 A special thank‑you goes to the Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity and to the Leadership of RISO – Regional Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Palermo, whose institutional support makes it possible to realize a project that brings together rigor, contemporary sensitivity, and an international outlook.
This collaboration with regional institutions and with Fondazione Effetto Arte Impresa Scancarello srl e Ottica Punto di Vista reaffirms a shared commitment: recognizing culture as a living infrastructure of the territory.

👉 The Ca****la dell’Incoronata hosts NOWHERE // NOW HERE, an immersive installation that transforms the exhibition space into a living organism, articulated through three perceptual thresholds dedicated to the relationship between artwork, place, and presence.

👉 The project is conceived and directed by Francesca Aiello, CEO of Archikromie Creative Hub - Arte e Architettura, with the essential contribution of:
Art Direction — guiding the aesthetic and curatorial vision, GwenArt Studium
Technical Direction — overseeing the installation and technical solutions, Licari

The works selected through the open call, in collaboration with the curatorial committee, activate a direct dialogue with the architecture of the Chapel: the visitor becomes an integral part of the experience.
The opening marks the official beginning of a passage that celebrates research, dialogue, and presence.

Francesca Aiello works where light changes direction.
An architect, painter, and curator, she moves across disciplines as one moves through a dimly lit room: following what vibrates, what escapes, what remains suspended between one gesture and the next.
Her works — spatial, pictorial, or narrative — arise from the same inclination: to observe the forms of the invisible, the minimal tensions that shift the scene, the shadows that precede every image.
For her, matter is a breath: it layers, thins, fractures.
She paints as she builds, and builds as she writes:
through subtraction, chiaroscuro, and listening.
Every surface is a passage, every cut a threshold, every void a way of seeing.
Through Archikromie, she shapes spaces that are not meant to be interpreted, but inhabited.
Her research does not seek answers: it opens fissures.
It explores what moves between people, in the folds of relationships, in the zones where light does not illuminate but reveals.
Her work — in any medium — is an invitation to linger.
To look at what inclines.
To recognize what changes without making a sound.
