A FB group I’m in, someone shared this as a challenge in light. I needed both a challenge and inspiration. This wasn’t easy and as always, I see everything wrong with it,…but I’m also very happy with it.

Derwent lightfast and coloursoft pencils on Bristol vellum paper. Three evenings and a Saturday afternoon.

Took my time with this one. Commissioned by a close friend for someone whose pup has fallen ill. Pets are a challenge which makes them even more rewarding

Tried something new. Drew this in pencil but wanted to add a pop of color. Really liked how it turned out, like a muted saturation photo or vintage photo.

First colored pic in a LONG while. Done for a friend and colleague for their anniversary. Just loved the perspective. Mixed colored pencils with water color a graphitint pencils that liquify when adding water to the surface.
