STORY TIME

A random moment with my dad that hit me way harder than expected.

I tried my dad's collection of retro games in a hard drive. He got that as a prize when he won a beyblade championship in L T A B Gaming Hub. After this video, he shared something he’d never really mentioned before.

He said that when he was a kid, he didn't have the luxury to own or play any of these games. Whenever he wanted to see them in action, his only option was to sit quietly and watch his cousin play. He spent hours just looking over someone else's shoulder, wishing he could have a turn.

Hearing that honestly made me pause. It’s so easy to take things for granted when they’ve just always been there. Sitting there with a controller in my hands, I realized how much sacrifice and hard work went into making sure my life looked completely different from his childhood.

I felt instantly lucky, grounded, and so deeply thankful. My mom and dad have always worked endlessly to give me the best, turning the things they could only dream of into my reality.
