As I looked around Kino Armata on opening night.
Volunteers dressed in white moved quietly through the crowd, welcoming guests and guiding them through the space. In the hallways, words flowed in many languages—Albanian, Romani, Serbian, English, French—sometimes understood, sometimes translated, but always shared. For a few hours, these voices blended into a single conversation.
Inside, the silver screen illuminated faces from different communities, generations, and backgrounds. People laughed together, listened together, and reflected together. The cinema became more than a venue; it became a crossroads of cultures, memories, and experiences.
Moments like these remind me why the Rolling Film Festival exists. Not only to screen films, but to create encounters. To offer a place where differences are not barriers but invitations to learn from one another. In a world often divided, there is something powerful about gathering in the dark, facing the same screen, and sharing the same story.

Kana dikhljom pe Kino Armata ando rat kana phutardilo o festivalo, dikhljom o voluntera ande parne majice sar mirno phirenas maškar o manuša, sastipnase e gosten thaj sikavenase lenge kaj te džan. Ande o hodnici shundolape lafura ande but chiba – shqip, romanes, srpski, angliski, francuski. Hajeko lela khan, hajek na, ama sa jekhthane ulavenape.
Andral, o ekran ando kino osvetlinela o mujja andar bibarvale komuniteta, generacije thaj thana. O manuša asanape jekhthane, šunenape jekh avres thaj gindinenape jekhthane. Vaš nekobor ori, Kino Armata na sas samo kino. Ačhilo jekh raskrsnica kulturengo, dikhimatengo thaj trajoengo.
Kadala momentura ande mande anen pale soske kerasa kado festivalo. Na samo te sikavas filmura, nego te khedas o manuša. Te keras jekh than kaj o diferencije na si zidura, nego šajipe te sikljovas jekh avrestar.
