People often ask why I don’t post much about nail art lately and if I’m still accepting clients.
To be honest, nail art is just my personal passion. My main profession is illustration, as well as painting.
I started doing nails simply because I could never feel fully satisfied with someone else doing them for me, so the most satisfying solution was to do it myself.
I’ve invested quite a bit in tools and materials, probably enough to run a small studio but I’ve always approached nail art in a spontaneous, artistic way.
To me, nail art is art, not merchandise. Once I start thinking about “getting my investment back,” the joy fades and stress takes over, and that’s never what it was meant to be. It’s supposed to be fun.
That’s why I’m really selective with who I work with. I can only enjoy doing nails when there’s a shared sense of aesthetic and mutual respect.
So yes I may seem lazy or spontaneous when it comes to nail content, but that’s simply because I do it out of joy, not obligation.
Also, starting this September, I’ll be moving to a new city and beginning a new chapter, so I’ll no longer be based in Hanoi.
Thank you to everyone who’s been following and supporting me up until now.
Stay tuned for what’s coming next!
