Heritage Magazine is the in-flight magazine of Vietnam Airlines, the country’s biggest aircraft carrier. The monthly magazine highlights Vietnam's rich natural and cultural heritage and their conservation. Heritage Magazine, published in both English and Vietnamese, is supported by the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and helps educate readers who are interested in learning more about Vietnam's cultural traditions and customs.

The April Issue includes a feature story about one of Vietnam's infamous dishes - Cha Ca La Vong. Having been around for over a hundred years, Cha Ca La Vong or Cha Ca Hanoi, is among the most unique dishes within Hanoi's food scene. Originating back in the early 1900's when Vietnam was a French colony, when a family that lived at 14 Hàng Sơn Street decided to sell their home-cooked fish dish to earn some more money. Cha Ca is traditionally served hot, with rice vermicelli, fried peanuts and coriander - all to be dipped into a classic Vietnamese dipping sauce (containing fish sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar, garlic) or shrimp pate (“mắm tôm”) mixed with lime juice.

Cha Ca La Vong remains one of the Hanoi's must-try dishes for visitors and locals alike.

Located in Hochiminh City's busy central district, NAMO Artisanal Pizzeria is the place to be when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine. NAMO uses the finest ingredients available, from San Marzano tomatoes from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, to porcelain white burrata from Puglia, and velvety smooth wines from Tuscany - their pizzas are artfully scorched in Neapolitan brick ovens to bring their diners one-of-a-kind pizza experience.

NAMO Artisanal Pizzeria is one of our regular clients. One memorable project was the “Eyephone Package” campaign, where we were asked to take sophisticated photos using only a smartphone camera. It was a unique and challenging, yet exciting, experience for us.

Xofa Cafe is a lovely cafe located on the 24-hour Tong Duy Tan St. Open 24/7, the cozy French-style cafe and restaurant has been on the rise as one of the favorite places among Hanoi's urban youth, expats and travelers. Xofa offers a variety of seating options and a diverse menu that pleases anyone’s appetite.

Our work with Xofa focused on the launch of some of their new dishes and drinks. We had a great time working with Hozu, the open-minded, stylish and perfectionist co-owner of the place.

As-me ESTELLE Japan Jewelry is the largest jewelry store chain in Japan. With a 60-year history of trading and processing precious metals and gems, AEJ possesses nearly 500 stores in Japan and across other Asian countries. |

Highlights: These photos are for a new collection called "Princess" - a set of jewelry for young girls by As-me Estelle Jewelry. The collection is inspired by the saying "Youth is like a rain, even if you catch a cold, you still want to soak in it again." We chose a dreamy tone to preserve this collection's spirit: making young girls feel like they are princesses. |

Having the opportunity to be gifted a box of macarons by Pierre Herme, our Creative Director Nguyen Minh Ngoc decided to capture her impressions and feelings in this set of photos. About our client:
Trinh Fashion was founded by fashion designer Trinh B**h Thuy, an active member of Hanoi Association of Fashion Designers. Ms. Thuy - who is inspired by the idea that fashion lies deeply in every aspect of life and that fashion not only contributes to the beauty of human beings, but also helps to bring out the best of a culture’s identity - holds a philosophy of “FASHION IS ONESELF.”

Highlights: When brainstorming for this project, photographer Nguyen Minh Ngoc kept an ancient philosophical question in mind: "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" This spring, “The Circle” line was launched to promote the beauty of the powerful internal force inside every living object, which always strives to survive and flourish in the arms of nature and Mother Earth.

“The Circle” is a combination of energetic oriental colors and the gracefulness of Ao Dai, the traditional costume of Vietnam. |

About our client: Flavours of Vietnam was established by two Vietnamese sisters: Ms. Diep To (Leaf) and Mrs. Le B**h Ngoc (Green Jade). Diep started her career in this field as a tour guide in 1996 and has been organizing trips ever since. Diep and her friends started Flavours of Vietnam with the goal of helping tourists venture to the most unexplored corners of Vietnam.

To Diep Cookbook is a special project of Flavours of Vietnam that features Vietnamese cuisine. To Diep Cookbook has English and French versions and will be published in 2017 throughout the world.

Highlights: This special cookbook project has been going on for two years. To Diep and her sister, B**h Ngoc, were born and raised in Hanoi to an intellectual family and later moved to Canada. The cookbook is the memoir of them as kids growing up in Hanoi. The recipes in the cookbook are not only created with love, but also contain their sweet childhood memories. |

Highlights: We had a lot of fun working with the ingredients while making the stunning macaroons. The most inspiring part for us was creating harmonized patterns out of the shapes and colors of the ingredients and macaroons themselves. |
