Tal día como hoy hace 165 años un 1 de mayo de 1857 nace theodorus (Theo) van Gogh, mercante de arte Neerlandés nacido en Zundert. Hermano menor de Vincent, quien le prestó todo el apoyo económico, dotándolo de materiales de manera desinteresada para que se dedicara al arte. Siempre le brindó apoyo, siendo la última persona que estuvo a su lado el día de su muerte.
On this day 165 years ago on May 1, 1857 theodorus (Theo) van Gogh was born, a Dutch art merchant born in Zundert. Younger brother of Vincent, who gave him all the financial support, selflessly providing him with materials so that he could dedicate himself to art. He always gave him support, being the last person who was by his side on the day of his death.

All of us who love the art of Vincent van Gogh have Theo to thank. He was the best brother Vincent could have!
