Happy National Sunflower Day! 🌻

One of my favorite reminders is the story of the sunflower. During the day, it turns toward the sun, seeking the light and growing because of it. But when darkness comes, sunflowers turn toward one another.

Whether or not that’s perfectly scientific, I love the symbolism. In seasons of light, may we celebrate each other’s joy. And in seasons of darkness, may we hold the light for one another until the sun returns.

I hope these sunflower paintings bring a little sunshine to your day.

I’m so excited to finally share that The Art Bin is officially live!

I’ve had the privilege of partnering with some incredibly talented local artists to help bring their work to a wider audience, and I’m honored to have my artwork included in this new online gallery.

One of the things I love most about collecting art from local artists is that it means something. These aren’t mass-produced pieces from a big box store. They’re stories, memories, places, and moments created by real people right here in our Appalachian community. The artwork you choose becomes part of your home, your family, and your everyday life.
