High Desert Tribal Belly Dance Welcome! I am Inna - a tribal belly dancer with a passion for Sacred embodiment and transmission of Divine Feminine essence through dance.

This page is dedicated to sharing information about classes, performances, & all other offerings by the tribal belly dancer Inna of Shekinah Tribal Belly Dance I trained in American Tribal Style Belly Dance at its birth place - Fat Chance Belly Dance studio in San Francisco CA. I had the honor to study directly under Carolena Nericcio, the style's acclaimed creator, and her troupe mates. Dancing a

nd teaching for 11 years in Santa Cruz CA, has been a deep gift and a dream come-true. I got to be a part of Persephone Dance Company and founded my own troupe & company, Shekinah Tribal Belly Dance. I taught classes from beginner to advanced, produced numerous performances, and in my last few years in Santa Cruz braved my dream of intentional dance ceremonies for rites of passage and cultural re-weaving. Upon relocating to the High Desert in 2025, I have begun yet another chapter in my tribal belly dance journey and am now thrilled to offer my teaching and performance offerings to the desert dwellers and visitors.

dear hearts~

we have a FULL MOON in SCORPIO growing into her fullness this week and blooming on May 1st!

known as the Flower MOON, this is the first of two FULL MOONS in May, with the second one on May 31st which will be a calendrical Blue MOONā€¦

being that this is a SCORPIO FULL MOON there is a strong emotional undercurrent that we might be feeling, which is wanting to reveal to us a secret, a truth or a deeper knowing that holds the key to our transformation and our evolutionary path forwardā€¦

we are moving into new territory feeling the changes within us as our collective consciousness shifts and so itā€™s important for us to stay open to seeing what the path forward is so that we may follow the new trailsā€¦

for now with the dawning of this new era of URANUS in GEMINI we might suddenly be able to see further, like our vision suddenly opening wider giving us a peek into new possibilities and pathways that we had not previously been able to seeā€¦

URANUS is the Great Awakener and can bring things in quickly and in unexpected ways if we stay open to the Fieldā€¦.

many have been pointing to this transit and MAY as being the month when things would really begin to accelerate for usā€¦

we could feel our own blinders coming off and our periphery vision suddenly expanding to encompass so much more that we could have imagined or envisionedā€¦

it is said that the Buddha became enlightened under a SCORPIO FULL MOON during TA**US seasonā€¦

so this energy of expanded consciousness is all around us now and we can see it as a stream of pure white LIGHT that is streaming in cleansing our lenses of perception and enlivening our mental streams with new currents and higher frequenciesā€¦

our Flower MOON also falls on BELTANE, the Gaelic May Day festival that marks the midway point between the Equinox and the Solstice!

Beltane means ā€œbright fireā€ and fire has always played a central symbolic role at Beltane, not only as a source of LIGHT and warmth, but as a powerful agent of renewalā€¦
